Blue Pete
Blue Pete (Pete Parisetti) is an "Italian from Glasgow". A successful recording artist and producer with worldwide sales of over 100,000 CDs, for the last few years he has combined his studio work with live performances accompanying - among others - US gospel superstar Lavelle, R&B drummer and vocalist Vic Pitts (drummer for Myriam Makeba, Chuck Berry, Otis Redding and many others) and drummer Alvin Queen (currently with Sting). During 2004 and 2005, as he was touring the blues circuit with Scottish bluesman Craig McConnell, he started writing his own compositions. "For the first time in my life - he says - I was writing not to please others, to show how good I was, or to sell records. I was writing because I had things to say. Those weren't happy things, and I could only write them in the language of the blues". It was only in 2006 that Pete decided to put together his own band, the BOTTOM LINE, and go out as a solo artist. The act performs as a "power trio" - vocals/guitar, bass and drums - frequently joined by guest artists.
