50 Fingers was named because the band has 5 members and each have 10 fingers so ... "was only an idea, but it sounds good" Formed in December 2005, the band brings together five musicians from the provinces of Alessandria, Asti and Turin. The immediate feeling which is created between the various components of the band, makes the blues genuine and spontaneous ... and above all fascinating, in fact, the dynamism of Philip Arena (guitar), the explosiveness of Mirko Barbesina (piano) and experience the rhythm section made up Guaschino Andrea (bass) and Joss Griffioen (drums) allow Fabrizio Chiabrera (harmonica and vocals) offer a selection of pieces dedicated to Chicago blues and West Coast Jump Blues. The music of the band is inspired by the rhythms of the wild jump blues with a touched of rock'n'roll ... thanks to the 10 fingers of Mirko Barbesina .... But it is always a strong link to the Chicago blues, where the five musicians move perfectly at ease among shuffles and slows, and the more typical sound of the music.
